100 Resolutions

I'm really no good at the resolution thing (but who is, right?) so when I came across this list I thought "hey! I can do this!" Plus I am a fairly avid reader (avid enough that I have already read a nice chunk of the books on the list already *ok, so I have only read 18%, but that isn't completely shameless!*) so it shouldn't be too difficult to take care of this list in a year. However, I'll be reading so much that I won't get much else done...ok maybe I'll make this a two year's resolution...

I had planned on posting my "Goal's for 2006 and Beyond" list that I made last Christmas. It's a pretty cool list and chock full of things I wanted to try, learn, read, visit, experience... Some things I got to (learn to sew) some things I didn't (read more about Martha Washington) but all I think I will get to someday. When I find the list (did I mention that "get organised" is on there?) I'll post it for all to see. But for now here is the book list. The books I have read are in bold print. I was just saying how I need to make time this year to read more. How wonderful it is that you have this lengthy list of great books. Thank you for taking the time to put this together, as I will be using it. :-)

Oh yay! I am so excited that you'll read from it, too. But I need to give the credit where credit is due, it is a BBC compiled list. I'll add a credit to the post. I feel so dumb for not doing it in the first place, I really should know better!

Hello there! Sorry to post a comment WAY down here, but I was having trouble posting elsewhere (I'm technically challenged.) Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such nice comments. I see we are the same age! (I only have one kid....so far....) Happy Birthday to your little one!!! My boy turned four last November...where does the time go? Take care!
