I have had some trouble with my Mac too, and I just wanted to tell you that the Apple store has Mac geniuses and you can go on the internet and reserve a time with them and then drag your computer in and they wil help you out. Which can be super nice and it's free, I did this when my warranty ran out, they can be super helpful!
The fun part is draggin it in especially if you have a desktop version opposed to a laptop.
